Running Practitioner Courses
As a Tony Buzan® Licensed Instructor (TBLI)，you can now run your own official Tony Buzan® Practitioner Courses in Mind Mapping, Memory Skillsor Speed Reading.
We will provide you with the complete toolkit toget started, including E-course manuals,resources and advice.

Running a Practitioner Course – Step by Step
With these exclusive resources, you can integrate and customise the content to suit your target audience so that they can achieve the best possible learning outcomes.
We encourage you to tailor the content to your delegates’requirements as much as possible, so that they can gain the best value from the course. You are experts in your fields and by combining your knowledge with our resources, you can deliver truly powerful and innovative courses.
In order to run an official Tony Buzan® Practitioner course, you will be required to do the following:
★ Cover at least 80% of the Practitioner course content in your course.
We encourage you to tailor your training to different industries and requirements, but this rule ensures that enough of the core knowledge and techniques are covered.
★ Purchase official Tony Buzan® Practitioner certificates from APMSC.
★ Provide APMSC with the full names and email addresses your delegates so that we can authenticate their status as Practitioners and have a record of their license.
★ Provide APMSC with the photos taken from your training sessions with the TONY BUZAN logo exhibited prominently.
Certifying your Tony Buzan® Practitioners
A Tony Buzan® Practitioner is certified in the specific discipline they were trained in by you.
Certificates can be purchased directly from APMSC in packs of 10 and each pack purchased must be specific to one course. Currently there will be a fee payable of 280 GBP (plus VAT if applicable) for one pack of 10 blank Ordinary Practitioner Certificates and 560 GBP (plus VAT if applicable) for one pack of 10 blank Advanced Practitioner Certificates.
Please note: certificates cannot be purchased individually.
In order to be eligible for official Tony Buzan® Practitioner certificates, we require you to teach at least 80% of the specified Practitioner course content in your course and these materials must be clearly referenced as Tony Buzan’s official content in public advertising and training.
Once you have ordered your certificates and received your licenses, you are ready to go!
Renewing your license
We endeavour to maintain the credibility of the Tony Buzan® Licensed Instructor network to which you now belong, and we do this by ensuring that our TBLI maintain their active status.
After a period of 12 months as a TBLI, the time will come when you will have to re-activate your status as a Tony Buzan® Licensed Instructor in order to continue teaching and receiving the exclusive benefits has to offer.
You will be required to pay an annual renewal fee of £250 (+VAT if applicable) to renew your license for a further 12 months. If you choose not to renew your license at the time of invoicing, the TBLI License Agreement you signed will become void and all TBLI benefits will be removed from your account.
If you wish to renew your license after this point, you will need to retake the course and pay.

By renewing your TBLI license every year, you will not only be able to continue delivering official Tony Buzan® Practitioner courses, you will also ensure that you continue to receive the following benefits:

★ Membership to our global network of instructors, with a listing and profile page on our website to promote your services.
★ Save 25% on our Licensed Instructor Courses in Speed Reading, Memory Skills and other innovative thinking courses designed by Tony Buzan.
★ Re-attend the TBLI course at any time (subject to availability) to refresh your skills at 50% of course fees.
★ Priority customer service assistance.
Your TBLI Profile
Your profile on our website is a platform for you to market yourself; this will highlight your accomplishments and achievements as well as showcase your new TBLI status. This can also be used as a tool for people to contact you in regard to your own training courses.

We will require all of the 3 items mentioned above in order to publish your profile on our website. Once published, visitors can then view your profile and contact you directly should they require your services. We may also at times refer people to your page should they be looking for a trainer or a TBLI course.
TBLI Referral Commission
APMSC currently has a referral scheme in place which is exclusively available to active Licensed Instructors in Mind Mapping, Memory Skills, Speed Reading and other innovative thinking courses.
The scheme works on the basis that for every delegate who attends a Licensed Instructor Course as a result of your referral, you will receive a 10% commission on the total amount of money received by APMSC. The referred individual must notify us in writing before payment is made or you, as the TBLI can notify us.
As part of the scheme, we also have benefits for both TBLIs and Practitioners. As a TBLI you will receive 10% commission for every Tony Buzan® Practitioner whom you have certified and referred to attend the TBLI course. The Practitioner will also receive a 5% discount off the cost of the course. This discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount offers.
Please note the Practitioner must notify APMSC in writing before booking onto the course in order to validate the commission.
APMSC will not pay commission under any circumstances, if the TBLI or the referred individual has failed to notify APMSC in writing before payment is made.
Senior and Master Licensed Instructor Pathway
How to become a Senior TBLI
A) Ensure you are accredited as a TBLI in at least TWO disciplines of Mind Mapping, Memory Skills, Speed Reading and any other Mind Mapping Application course
B) Demonstrate your senior training skills
Senior TBLIs must demonstrate a senior level of knowledge, experience and training skills. Therefore, we will require you to have officially certified at least 50 Tony Buzan® Certified Practitioners (TBCP)or Tony Buzan® Certified Advanced Practitioners(TBCAP) annually, across any of your accredited disciplines, before applying for Senior TBLI status.
The elite group of trainers as above mentioned will have demonstrated their excellent training skills and met, if not exceeded, highest standards in the delivery of the official Tony Buzan® Certified Practitioner courses.
Once you have met this requirement, at the request of our Team you will need to send the following items for review:
– 50 completed Practitioner or Advanced Practitioner feedback forms from courses you have delivered.
– 1 hour of video footage showing you delivering a Practitioner or Advanced Practitioner course.
We will require you to submit new feedback forms and video footage on an annual basis for review before we can renew your status as a Senior TBLI.
C) Evaluation before approval
Once you have met all of the objectives set out above, our Team will review your application for Senior TBLI status. This is to ensure that the highest possible standards of the Tony Buzan brand are being achieved, if not exceeded. If successful, you will then be awarded Senior TBLI status and receive a new certificate with the signature of Tony Buzan highlighting your achievement. Your profile on our website will reflect your Senior TBLI status.
As a Senior TBLI, you can distinguish yourself from the competition, deliver Tony Buzan® Certified Practitioner courses or Tony Buzan® Certified Advanced Practitioner courses and get your skill set and experience officially recognized.
How to become a Master TBLI
A) Ensure you are accredited as a TBLI in at least THREE disciplines of Mind Mapping, Memory Skills, Speed Reading and any other Mind Mapping Application course.
B) Demonstrate your master training skills
Master TBLIs must demonstrate a master level of knowledge, experience and training skills. Therefore, we will require you to have officially certified at least 100 Tony Buzan® Practitioners or Tony Buzan® Certified Advanced Practitioners annually, across any of your accredited disciplines, before applying for Master TBLI status.
Once you have met this requirement, at the request of our Team you will need to send the following items for review:
– 100 completed Practitioner or Advanced Practitioner feedback forms from courses you have delivered.
– 1 hour of video footage showing you delivering a Practitioner course or Advanced Practitioner course.
We will require you to submit new feedback forms and video footage on an annual basis for review before we can renew your status as a Master TBLI.
C) Evaluation before approval
Once you have met all of the objectives set out above, our Team will review your application for Master TBLI status. This is to ensure that the highest possible standards of the Tony Buzan brand are being achieved, if not exceeded. If successful, you will then be awarded Master Licensed Instructor status and receive a new certificate with the signature of Tony Buzan highlighting your achievement. Your profile on our website will reflect your new Master TBLI status.
As a Master TBLI, you can not only distinguish yourself from the competition, deliver Tony Buzan® Certified Practitioner courses or Tony Buzan® Certified Advanced Practitioner courses and get your skill set and experience officially recognized, but also have the opportunity to be invited by our Team to deliver lectures for the TBLI courses of your accredited disciplines.
After acquiring the Representative license from our Team, a Master TBLI can market and organizer their own TBLI courses of their accredited disciplines.
